I was less interested in this article on the BBC website than I was in the photo that accompanied it: who makes a statue to a monetary symbol? Not that I don't know that people the world over worship at the altar of money, but actually having something like this made for your headquarters feels a little like something out of a Richie Rich comic book.

According to the BBC, the dollar hit a new low against the euro: $1.509 to €1. Not what I want to hear the day before I leave for Spain!
