Last Night, I Dreamed of Marcel Duchamp

Okay, technically, I dreamed of returning from a trip to upstate New York; for some reason, Catherine had stayed wherever it was we were visiting but I had to come home early to go to a performance by one of our friends. I took a subway to Inwood but got out too early and had to walk a lot farther than I had intended. Along the way, I stumbled across a loft that was open to the public and that turned out to have been the studio of Marcel Duchamp shortly before he died. I went in and was able to explore dozens of huge rooms filled with half finished artworks.

Then I woke up.
