It's A Graphic Novel—from a Play

My old friend Bob Fisher in Chicago is creating a wonderful webcomic from his recent production of Clay Continent (which had its first public presentation in one of Peculiar Works multidisciplinary performance events in 1998). It's a wonderful idea, perfectly matched to the material (Bob's script is based on Robert Louis Stevenson's Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde) and incredibly well executed. He's posting it in weekly (-ish) installments; if you like where he's going with this, I encourage you to subscribe to his RSS feed so you don't miss an episode.

For those of you who are interested in more critical and analytical musings on art, Bob posts those on his DevilVet blog. Looking at the two sites together reminds me of the dozens of late nights discussions Catherine and I had with Bob over beers many, many years ago...
